Portfolio Manager, Elisa Di Marco, steps through how Magellan's DNA, that is, our definition of quality and assessment of quality, underpins the portfolio construction of Magellan's Core Global and Core ESG funds.

Whilst the fund is active, that is, leveraging the active research insights and active assessments of quality from the investment team, the fund utilises a rules based portfolio construction process to determine the 70 to 90 stocks in the portfolio. Rules based portfolio construction gives investors greater certainty in the portfolio over time - with targeted diversification, and limited key person risk.
